sabify 2010 – Meine Lieblings-Alben des Jahres
Es ist wohl eine dieser bizarren Ironien des Lebens, wenn man aus dem traditionell schneearmen Saargebiet in die Alpen zieht und dann trotz europaweiter Schnee-Apokalypse namens „Petra“ erneut kaum eine Flocke zu Gesicht bekommt. Naja, somit verliere ich auch keine Zeit durch Schneeschippen und kann mich meiner Spotify-Jahresabschlussliste schon am 4. Advent widmen.
Statt einer „Best of“-Liste mit Einzeltracks wie im vergangenen Jahr habe ich diesmal einen Fokus auf meine Lieblings-Alben gelegt, die mich in ihrer Gesamtheit überzeugten. Eigentlich wollte ich eine Top10 zusammenstellen, aber das hat bei weitem nicht funktioniert, stattdessen kam eine herrlich krumme Top32 zustande :). Ähnlich wie 2009 war auch das nun fast vergangene Jahr ein enorm „gutes“ Jahr in meinen Ohren — vor allem dank Spotify habe ich eine heftige Menge neuer Künstler gehört. Und das meist immer nur „nebenbei“, ich höre Musik eben vor allem beim Arbeiten und investiere meist wenig Zeit in die Suche nach neuem Material. Mein Trend ist daher auch dieses Jahr viel eingängiger Pop/Rock, meist nur einen Steinwurf von der Mainstream-Autobahn entfernt.
Die Reihenfolge ist eher zufällig, aber The Walkmen und The National stehen sicherlich nicht von ungefähr weit oben. Und Frightened Rabbit und Karen Elson … und The Black Keys und Broken Bells und … ach, ich denke, es wird deutlich, warum das eine Top32 wurde 🙂
Ich habe keine absolute Gewissheit, ob all diese Alben wirklich in 2010 auf den Markt kamen, ich verlasse mich stattdessen einfach mal auf die (zuweilen unzuverlässige) Spotify-Angaben. Stellvertretend für das gesamte Album habe ich jeweils zwei Tracks ausgesucht, um die Playlist handlich zu halten, hie und da habe ich auch etwas gemogelt 🙂
